Detailed Construction Drawings

When permission is granted SDS can produce the detailed construction/technical drawings required for construction and critical to ensuring contractors have adequate information to submit realistic costs during the tender process.

This comprehensive set of detailed drawings will include the architect design drawings, specification documents, structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, assembly and component drawings. Location or general arrangement drawings, include floor plans, sections and elevations. Section drawings show detail for example complex junctions, such as floor to wall junctions, window openings, eaves and roof apex. Assembly drawings provide detail for example, wall detail layers, fixings to structural elements, finishes to the edges of openings, etc. Component drawings are produced to inform suppliers of the detail of how individual components should be manufactured e.g. windows, roof trusses. Specification documents provide further detailed information on Client specific products/requirements.
